About Journalism South Africa & Coutts Media

Journalism South Africa started as a private Facebook group and grew into a carefully curated network of journalists, ex‑journos and students. For 17 years, every post has been checked by our family before it reaches the group.

That same approach sits behind this job board. We give employers a focused place to hire, and give journalists a way to find work without drowning in irrelevant noise.

Coutts Media adds training, mentoring and consulting for newsrooms navigating digital change – from storytelling formats to workflows and culture.

If you'd like to discuss bulk listings, training, or a long‑term partnership, email us on hello@couttsmedia.co.za.
